I never really expected any reaction when I started this project. I thought it would be nice to help out a few people and maybe give them something they could treasure and display if they wanted. Glenn is an amazingly talented man with a gentle heart. He was lovely to deal with. I had asked him to take the medical tape and tubes out of the picture and he was able to do that for me which was wonderful. When my picture of Fletcher arrived it took my breath away. From the moment Glenn contacted me he was so sincere. He communicated with me beautifully and I knew immediately this man was a Father of a special baby himself. Through several emails we connected though our boys. When my husband and I received our sketch of Harry we cold not believe how life like it was. It was like Harry was brought to life. We will treasure our drawing of Harry forever. It is a irreplaceable, priceless piece of art. A one of a kind. Skillfully drawn by a wonderful Dad who loves his Son, Baxter.

Glenn truly possesses an amazing gift. A few years after our second son Parker was born ‘sleeping’ at full term, I discovered Glenn’s sketches on the website. Although the hospital staff had taken some photos for us at the time of Parker’s birth and death, we were reluctant to put these photos on display in our house as the images stirred up much sadness and some of the images were a bit confronting with tubes, etc. At our request, Glenn was able to remove these parts of the images from the sketch to create a sketch which captures the beautiful love, innocence and spirit of our son Parker in a way in which we would love him to be remembered. We waited for Glenn’s sketch to arrive with much anticipation and when the sketch arrived, it took our breath away and brought tears of joy to our family. We are eternally grateful to Glenn. Words cannot express the joy this sketch has brought to our lives and how precious this sketch is to us.

30 years ago we had a stillborn baby girl ,Chloe . All we had for the last 30 years were some very old photos ,until I came across an article about Glenn and his sketches ! I got in touch with Glenn . He was very considerate and I had some lovely emails from him . The portrait of Chloe is beautiful and has been immensely helpful to myself ,husband and our four children .Glenn has done an amazing job and Chloe's portrait hangs proudly in our home .Thank you so much Glenn ! Thank you Glenn for a beautiful portrait of our beautiful baby girl Anastasia. The photos we took of Anastasia were heartbreaking as you could see her life less little soul. When I asked you to sketch her I wanted you to make her look alive and you did just that. Now when I look at the sketch I am not so confronted with the image that once was, but a beautiful little angel that is with us in spirit. Your work is amazing and truly a gift that has brought some peace at such a sad time... For this we thank you and hope many families are comforted even just a little, just as we were....

The sketch Glenn did of our precious still born twins has given our living children an opportunity to see their brothers who they never got to meet. We had very little in the way of photos and nothing we could show to anyone, however the sketch is shown proudly on our wall above their remembrance items. We love it very much and can not recommend Glenn enough for the work he puts into his sketches. Glenn communicated throughout the process with us and ensured such personal service, at a time of the 10 year anniversary for our boys.

My daughter Wendy was born in an era when stillbirth was not recognised as the devastating loss it is now. I was given no opportunity to see her or hold her, to have photos , locks of hair, hand or footprints. She was rushed from the delivery room like a piece of garbage. There was no recognition whatever of the need for support for parents bereaved by stillbirth.
Bearing two sons of quite different appearance later, I have many times wondered (as I have about so many things to do with how her life might have been) whether she would have looked like either of them, or totally different again.
A beautiful niece of mine (profoundly so, inside and out) who knew of my pain over Wendy's loss and of my longing for a way of acknowledging my daughter, quietly collected from me some photos for a family album. Included were photos of myself and my two sons as infants and small children.
Marly spoke to Glenn, providing him with a selection of those photos, and asking if he was prepared to use them as raw material in an attempt to make a permanent representation of Wendy as a newborn. No small ask, on all sorts of levels, given Glenn and his wife Nik's own personal tragedy.
There are no words adequate to express my gratitude to Marly for her loving initiative, or to Glenn for his artistic talent and empathetic character. This stunning sketch has now been framed and occupies a prominent place in our entrance hallway.

I have been friends with Glenn for quite sometime, growing up in the same town. When we lost our baby girl during delivery it was heartbreaking. Glenn reached out and selflessly asked if I would like to have Ella's photo made into a sketch, even though he and Nik were dealing with their own sad loss of little Baxter. Your work is absolutely amazing and life-like and you use your talented gift to help others. You truly are a considerate and special person Glenn. When we found out that Lincoln had no heartbeat the last thing on our mind was creating as many memories as we could in the short time we had with him. Fortunately we had a photographer take 44 beautiful photos of our son, one of which was recreated in full detail by Glenn. I never thought we would have anymore pictures of Lincoln until my mother liaised with Glenn to have one of Lincoln's photos sketched.
A sketch of our boy may not mean anything to most people but it has meant the world to us. We thank you for what you do with your amazing talent.

Glenn has captured our precious little girl graphically in a way that is both beautiful and real. We display our picture where our family and friends are able to see our precious little girl in a non confronting way. Working with Glenn throughout the process was positive, he is empathetic, respectful and kind hearted. This photo continues to help our boys understand that they had a big sister, although they have never met her. What Glenn gives to other's is more than just the sketch itself. He has a unique talent to beautifully capture the precious moments and memories that you have with your child. Glenn was patient, caring and genuine in my request for a sketch for my partner's first Father's day - he didn't get to spend it with our daughter Azalea, but at least he'd have something to acknowledge that he was a parent. The framed sketch is now proudly displayed on our mantle piece as a special reminder of the daughter we miss and love so dearly. It's one small way we are able to keep her a part of our lives.
